Make Taste part of your business.

A simple walkthrough for owners and managers. Keep this page open during your first visit with Taste.

1. Find your business

   Choose your card in the business directory, or open the private invitation Taste prepared for your business email. The invitation confirms access; your public referral QR serves customers.

2. Verify your account

   Create or sign in to your Taste account using the invited email. Confirm your email, then set up an authenticator app for the six-digit sign-in check. Taste verifies that you are authorized to manage this business.

   Have an account already? Use it. You do not need a separate email or a second customer account.

3. Set your private staff code

   Choose and confirm a five-digit code for redemptions. Share it privately with authorized staff. This code is separate from your password, authenticator check and public QR.

   Account activation unlocks the dashboard, five gift slots and referral QR. It does not publish offers automatically.

4. Check your profile and offers

   Update your description, public phone, website and Instagram. Review each offer’s discount, spending threshold, party size and conditions. Approve each offer or submit the changes you need. Taste handles publication after participation is confirmed.

   Ask Taste to correct your business name, suite or photographs. Changed offer terms require a new approval.

5. Share your five complimentary Passports

   Enter the email for a staff member, family member, friend or yourself in a gift slot. Prepare the private link, copy it and share it with that recipient. They sign in with the same verified email and claim their Passport, with no payment required.

   A gift link expires after 30 days. The recipient’s 90 days begin when claimed. You can replace an unclaimed invitation; its old link stops working. A claimed Passport uses that slot permanently.

6. Put your referral QR to work

   Download the QR or print its counter card. Use it at your register, on approved promotional materials or through your referral link. Your dashboard shows link visits and completed Passport purchases credited to that business.

7. Complete a redemption together

   Open Merchant Desk, look up the customer’s Passport and select an eligible offer. Confirm it with your staff code. Check the redemption inbox for the transaction and timestamp, and review any customer dispute through the dispute page.

   A recorded redemption is separate from the customer confirming it. Your dashboard shows email configuration status. The inbox remains the transaction record even if an email is delayed.
